Martin J.F. Steiner is an electrical energy engineer, book author and father of a son. He also runs actual a consultant office for energy autarchy technology.

He completed his studies of electrical energy technology at the Technical University of Vienna, later specializing in deep geothermal energy during his postgraduate MSc study, and wrote his dissertation on energy autarchy. He runs an engineering consulting firm specializing in energy engineering and does scientific research on renewable energies, grid stability and blackout prevention, swarm intelligence, and, together with ICR, research on the real impact of various greenhouse gases on a possible increase in global average temperature. He is also at the present time the spokesperson for the ICR.

He lives in Europe (Austria) and is co-founder of ICR – Independent Climate Research (https://www.icr2025.org ) and currently president of Union Souveränität (https://souveraenitaet.org). Martin gives lectures and advises for companies and communities on blackout prevention, EU climate policy, and energy policy issues.
He also runs a YouTube channel @dr.martinj.f.steiner (https://www.youtube.com/@dr.martinj.f.steiner/videos ) where he regularly reports on topics such as energy, climate, the environment, crisis preparedness, and blackout prevention, as well as all the latest research findings from the ICR (Independent Climate Research).

He is currently the author of two books. He co-authored the book EU-Klimawahnsinn (EU Climate Madness) with DI Klaus Richardt, which discusses the EU Green Deal, its impact on energy security in Europe, and the misguided design of the EU climate law. The book also includes the latest findings from the ICR regarding the real “climate impact” of CO2, as well as a “master plan” to save Europe's energy system from the political narratives of the EU Green Deal. His second book, “BEREIT SEIN” (Be Prepared), he wrote together with the catholic religion teacher Eduard Ziegler. It describes the many current crises, potential “black swan events” and shows clear ways to prepare for them.
