Dr Martin Coady is a retired reconstructive plastic surgeon, who lives and worked in North Yorkshire and North East England. He trained in medicine, qualifying MBBS in 1987 at Guy’s Hospital, London and holds FRCS and FRCS (plast) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

For many years serving the UK’s National Health Service, undertaking reconstructive microsurgery following cancer and trauma; he became independent in 2013. As well as his clinical role, he served in a variety of local, regional and national managerial positions. He is now the curator of a small but significant medicine-based collection in London.

As a scrupulously evidenced-based clinician, he became aware some 20 years ago that the stated health concerns attributed to rising CO2 and practices in medicine were groundless. He has for some years dedicated himself to the public understanding and history of science, particularly medicine and latterly the climate. As a writer and lecturer, he proselytizes for climate reality, based in reasoned and rational debate.
