Andy May is a writer, blogger, member of Climate Intelligence (CLINTEL), and author living in The Woodlands, Texas. He enjoys golf and traveling in his spare time. He retired from a 42-year career in petrophysics in 2016. He is also an editor for the popular climate change blog Wattsupwiththat.com where he has published numerous posts. He is also the author of five books and the author or co-author of seven peer-reviewed papers on various geological, engineering and petrophysical topics. He writes and speaks about climate change, with an emphasis on paleoclimatology. His latest book, edited with Marcel Crok, is The Frozen Climate Views of the IPCC: An Analysis of AR6.
