Aaron Stover

M.A., European Studies

Aaron D. Stover, based in Washington, DC, is the Chief Development Officer for The CO2 Coalition. He worked as the former DC director for development and outreach for The Heartland Institute.

Stover has extensive experience in transatlantic policy initiatives centered on Central and Eastern Europe, where he contributed to projects at prominent organizations including the Atlantic Council, the Center for European Policy Analysis, and the U.S.-EU-Slovakia Action Commission at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Additionally, he oversaw development research and marketing efforts for international trade and regulatory policy programs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Prior to these roles, he held positions in IT and accounting within the private sector.
He holds a master’s degree cum laude in European studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in government and French from the University of Texas at Austin. Stover further enhanced his expertise by studying political science at the University of Paris at Nanterre.
