According to NOAA, the most violent tornadoes are in a 70-year decline

The latest data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reveal a strong and persistent decline in the most violent (F3 to F5) tornadoes.

Or, in climate gobbledygook, the recently released UN IPCC AR6 reports that “observational trends in tornadoes, hail, and lightning associated with severe convective storms are not robustly detected due to insufficient coverage of the long-term observations.”
