Melting of floating ice does not cause sea levels to rise

The melting of Arctic Sea ice cannot cause sea levels to rise since the ice is floating on water. The only ice that can cause sea levels to rise is ice melting on land. Try this experiment yourself with a glass, water and a few ice cubes.
