Job Description
The CO2 Coalition is looking for an Associate to assist the Vice President of Marketing & Multimedia with video editing and podcast production. The Multimedia & Production Associate reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Multimedia and is responsible for assisting in the creation and dissemination of our media messages.
The successful candidate will have a skilled background in video editing and podcast production and will be self-motivated, exhibiting a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
o Providing video content (clips and YouTube Shorts) for our social media platforms
o Assisting in planning and preparation of our upcoming podcast, implementing the podcast, assisting the Vice President of Marketing & Multimedia with coordinating the guest schedule, as well as the technical production of a weekly podcast on multiple platforms
o Adding content to our social media platforms and website including news items, papers, videos, and the like, as needed
Requirements
- Experience in video editing and/or and podcast production
- Experience with photo/video-editing software, preferably Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of MS Office and other software programs
- Technical Training Certification or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if a proven track record documents ability to perform

Office Location and Dress Code
The office dress code is business casual, but outside appointments may require formal business attire. The office is near the Dunn Loring Metro stop. Work is to be conducted during normal 9 am-5 pm business hours with occasional, but infrequent, work in the evenings and on weekends.
